What is 2good2tip?
www.2good2tip.com- is the community based web site for buying, selling or swapping low cost stuff, locally. It’s like a car-boot or table-top sale but from your own computer. It’s a simple, cheap and a very local way of doing the deal – face to face with people around you. Our membership is only £1 a month for level 1 (£3 per quarter) – and for that you get your own stall and you can sell as much as you like!
1. Sign up and get your very own stall where you upload pictures and descriptions of your stuff.
2. Put your stall in communities that are local to you – either geographically or in clubs or groups, so people can see what you have for sale.
3. Tell your friends – send them a link to your stall.
How does this work ? How can I search for things ? Where do I put my stall ?
It’s all so simple …. check out our how it works page – http://www.2good2tip.com/public/how-it-works
www.2good2tip.comis completely different from other advertising sites, as you are not meant to search for stuff or sell stuff across the whole of the UK but in small communities near to you. This is all about having fun buying, selling and swapping stuff locally – with anyone who is local to you – where ever that may be. It works very much like a car-boot or table top sale.
As a browser wanting to find stuff – firstly you find communities that are set up near you http://www.2good2tip.com/public/browse and then do your searches within them. You don’t want to find a bike in Scotland when you live in Somerset. You want to be able to go round the corner and pick it up or drive a short distance.
As a seller, you need to set up your stall http://www.2good2tip.com/user/register and then make sure you put it in communities near to you. So imagine having a stall in local market places such as villages or districts of towns near you, at your work place or at your toddler group or camera club for example. You can put your stall on up to 5 or 8 communities depending on your level of membership chosen. Remember – make sure you use them all as the more places you put your stall the more likely you are to sell. If you can’t see a community that you want to be on – don’t worry just set it up yourself – someone has to be first ! Then send everyone your stall address so they can come and see what you have for sale.
This is all about doing the deal face to face – with people local to you – keeping stuff out of the tip and you keeping all the profits !
