What makes 2good2tip different ? – we give you the ability to start your own community groups, where ever you like, to buy and sell between your friends. We believe that buying and selling, swapping or fundraising can be a load more fun if you do it between friends, family, work colleagues … in community groups – rather than with complete strangers.

Just about everyone I know has something stuffed away at home that they don’t need or want anymore – but we don’t generally let our family and friends know, so it stays stuffed in the cupboard or in the back of the garage . If we did let others know about it – I bet you would get rid of it very quickly !

How many times have you heard someone say ‘if I knew you were selling that, I’d have made you an offer’ – I know I have heard it or said it myself many times ! By creating a new community place of your own, you can put your stall there and invite people you know to join in and put their stall there – and so on … building your own market places where you and your friends know one another, and can have fun buying and selling from each other.

A new community group has recently been created for a Judo Club in Weston Super Mare – 1 stall at the moment but this is how they start – someone has to be first!  That stallholder can now send his stall link to all those people at the club, so they can see what’s for sale and he will also invite other friends at the judo club to join in. If someone wants to buy something from him, they can arrange to take a look at it next time they are both at the club – making is easy and safe to do the deal in person.

That’s the 2good2tip difference !

Selling on 2good2tip is different because …

2good2tip is different –  it allows groups of friends, neighbours, work colleagues, clubs to get together and buy and sell, swap or even fundraise between each other. Create your own community for your club or group and invite your friends to join in. It’s all about making safer and friendlier places to buy, sell or swap stuff – you can even use it as a fundraising tool.

This is the easy way to show people you know, or people who live near you, what you have for sale.

Tip of the Day

If you want to keep your stall at the top of your community lists – simply keep your stall updated. By revisiting, editing or changing something on your stall will automatically ping you back to the top of the list on all your community places.

Also contact me with anything you have for sale that you think is particularly weird or wacky or just plain great and I will try to feature it here on the blog, or it may even get a tweet ! It all helps to sell your stuff.

Top Tip – Pass it on

The best way to let others know you have something for sale is to simply email your unique 2good2tip stall address to all your friends and family. So many times I have heard people say ‘ if I’d known you wanted to get rid of that, I would have made you an offer for it’ – its true ! There is always someone close by who will want what you no longer need and are happy to come get it and … pay you money for it! – so whizz them your stall on email so they can take a peek what you have on offer !
